Allow Me to Introduce Myself

I’ve been posting for a little while now, and outside of my “Divine Endorsement: Why I Created This Blog” post from 2023, I realize I’ve never properly said hello.

My name is Diamond, and I’m the writer behind Faith on the Page!

Before I get into what I’m doing here and why I’m in your inbox or on your screen, let me give you a quick backstory.

In 2023, I gave my life to Jesus and the very first thing I did, before I knew much of anything about anything, was start a blog.

It was under a different name at the time and has evolved since then but the very first thing God graced me and gave me the desire to do was share what I was experiencing with not just my friends and family, but with anyone willing to listen on the internet too.

All of my writings and reflections still live here if you scroll back far enough. Back when all of this looked very different than it does now.

I wanted everyone to experience the revelation about God that I had been given: that Jesus Christ, the Lord’s Son, put on skin and came down down from His throne in Heaven out of pure love—lived among us and willingly gave His life—so that you and I could know God and be with Him for eternity as He desires.

What started as sharing my experience has evolved to also inviting people to look more closely at their own experience.

We are all being called into deeper relationship with God, at all times. We’re simply called in different ways and with varying levels of awareness.

I’m still relatively early in my walk with Christ, but God has been incredibly gracious in how much He’s revealed, healed, corrected, and transformed in such a short amount of time. I say that not to position myself as someone who has “arrived,” but to testify to how faithful He is when we truly seek Him.

So here’s my intention for this space:

To share my lifelong story of redemption and sanctification and encourage you in yours.

Sometimes it looks like wrestling with complex questions and ideas. Sometimes it’s sharing items and resources that I’m finding or have found extremely helpful in my walk. Sometimes it’s examining past and present versions of ourselves and coming against any lies or traps meant to discourage us.

At other times it’s inviting you into the beautiful places and moments Im blessed to experience. Occasionally I share the lifestyle side of things too: fashion, home inspiration, and everyday moments that make my life feel slower, and more connected to God.

Ultimately, it looks like sharing whatever He places on my heart that might be useful to someone else.

I’m writing this post with a refreshed perspective on what Faith on the Page—and my role in it—is all about.

If you’ve been here for a while, thanks for growing with me as the Lord continues to clarify and strengthen my direction and voice in this space.

If you’re new here, I welcome you with open arms.

My framework and lens in my walk is centered on this:

There is no pressure to be, do, have, or perform—faithfulness is my job, God will take care of the rest.

So let’s have a good time here! You can expect to hear from me every other Sunday, along with the occasional spontaneous post whenever something is pressing on my heart enough to share sooner.

I invite you to share your thoughts with me too. I don’t bite and I love to hear the perspectives of other believers and people who are not yet believers but curious about a life of following Jesus.

Before I leave you, I want to remind that our lives are short but we’re all purposed for something. I hope something you read here helps you feel a little more seen, a little more grounded, and a little more aware of God’s presence in your everyday life. 🤍

Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.
